Don’s focus is on employee benefits, and he assists clients with plan design, cost management, and contract negotiations. He was a consistent top producer for many insurance carriers in South Central Wisconsin. Don has served on Physicians Plus’s agents’ advisory council and was a board member of the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters. Licensed in Wisconsin, he has several relevant professional certifications because he believes in continuing education. Don has contacts at all levels of top-rated carriers. Employees of all his clients have direct access to Don and his staff.
Steve Sloan| Agent/Broker
has worked in the insurance, health and employee benefits field since 1970. His career includes experience in an insurance company home office, as a business owner and medical provider, and as an independent insurance agent. During this time, Steve dealt with employee benefits from both the employer's perspective and as a medical provider of home health services. Since 1997, Steve has been an independent insurance agent helping employers in the Southern Wisconsin market, design and implement their benefit plans. In early 2008, Steve became affiliated with the Higgins Insurance Group.

has worked in all facets of the insurance business over the past 20 years. She has been employed in physicians’ private practice, hospitals, insurance carriers, and now works with the carriers. She has a strong background in disability, health & dental insurance, and COBRA. She has several professional certifications within the health insurance industry. Laurie excels in customer service, and when she answers benefit questions, she “translates” insurance language and reasoning so your employees understand. She also handles claims and billing, and takes care of all client needs. She can resolve issues that crop up when errors have been made by the carrier or employee.
